Alpha Chi Connection, February Issue

The February issue of the Alpha Chi Connection takes on a whole new meaning - chic, classy, trend setter, influential, authentic, stylish - VOGUE. The Vogue-inspired issue is bold & daring to push the limits of creativity and depict Alpha Chi's as ordinary women. Ordinary is Extraordinary. 

Save the Date,
Fagre and Waagen Wedding

Sarah and Sam requested a personalized "Save the Date" invitation for their wedding, which will be held on Saturday, September 20th, 2014. The wedding will take place in the couples current hometown, Richmond, VA, and involves a southern theme from the bride's dress and cowboy boots, to the mason jars, flowers, food, alcoholic beverages, and reception location. The main colors include midnight blue and that of an orange cala lilly.

Dreamer and Believer

Why is my logo orange and maroon? One could argue that it's because I'm a Hokie. Why yes, I am a Hokie, but the maroon and orange holds deeper signicance than my college allegiance. I discovered my true passion at Virginia Tech - all things marketing. I will forever remember the concepts, strategies learned in class, and cherish the relationships developed with professors and classmates. The New York City skyline represents opportunity, as well as the ability to dream and believe. I may have been raised in the suburbs of Virginia, but I am a city girl at heart, who craves opportunity, growth, and a little bit of chaos.

As a Summer Research Executive at Wakefield Research I developed a newsletter containing the latest trends on research, pop culture, celebrity gossip, film, technology, and fashion. The main purpose was to update the current staff members on the latest news and trends.

The December Issue highlights the sisters participating in holiday-related events held at the end of the semester at Virginia Tech. The Holiday Edition illuminates holiday cheer from start to finish as featured in the tone, design, and images.

The November Issue informs and educates parents and alumni about Alpha Chi Omega's own philanthropy called, Mock Rock and it's participation in other organization's philanthopies as well. The Philanthopy Edition highlights the everlasting impact made on the rest of the Greek community.

The March Issue creatively portrays the activities and involvement of the sisters of Alpha Chi on the Virginia Tech campus. "There's an app for that" Edition exemplifies the range of involvement including VT Relay for Life, Big Sis Reveal, philanthropies, and spring break.
